Sequences in Pieces is a study in performance as practice for/with students training in (post) modern contemporary dance practices. Moving beyond the classroom environment, dance students will explore what it means to inhabit a performative presence and activate space as they move through a series of movement pieces and improvisational studies learned in class, for live performance. Students will be dancing out their active decisions, one piece at a time, to arrive at a culminating sequence of actions. Come witness it all come together!
